With over three decades of expertise in eye care, the doctor's journey began when he
qualified as an optometrist from R.A.U (Rand Afrikaans University) in 1989.
Driven by a passion for comprehensive eye health, he pursued medical studies at the
University of the Witwatersrand, leading to his specialization in Ophthalmology in 2002.
His commitment to excellence took him to London, where he spent six enriching years in
various eye hospitals. The last three of these were dedicated to private refractive
surgery practice, focusing on cutting-edge Laser vision correction and Cataract surgery.
In December 2011, he brought this wealth of international experience back to South
Africa, where he began private practice. Here, he continues to provide exceptional eye
care, combining South African warmth with world-class expertise.
